Project Summary and Feedback
Mobile Bible World connects children with the Bible in a personal way, and giving them the tools and education needed to bolster confidence in the reliability, historicity and credibility of the Bible.
They are empowered by the knowledge of how early translation and dissemination of the manuscripts protected the text from corruption. They gain knowledge and context about translation, which will help them to welcome a new and more understandable translation of the Bible.
All of the same holds true for the Sunday School and Religion teachers and Church leaders, who are also experiencing this event and information with the children.
One priest came with his group, and warned our team that his kids were very unruly, apologizing for them in advance. Our team member told him, “Don’t worry, they will behave. I love naughty kids, because I used to be naughty! Just watch!” As he addressed the kids in the first tent, he communicated with them on their level and the kids responded to his challenge, and chose to stay and take the tour and listen and learn. They came away saying, Thank you! That was really interesting! Several of them, as with so many other groups, insisted on staying and asking further questions from our team, all about the Bible.
